Designer Goldmine is a private member marketplace and community platform. These terms explain what membership means, what members are responsible for, and what Designer Goldmine does and does not do.
These policies are provided as working platform guidance and should be reviewed by legal counsel before full public launch.
Acceptance of terms
By applying for membership, signing in, or using Designer Goldmine, you agree to these terms, the Community Guidelines, the Transaction Disclaimer, the Authenticity Disclaimer, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Membership is discretionary
Designer Goldmine is private and access is granted at the discretion of the Designer Goldmine Admin Team.
- Applications may be approved or declined.
- Membership may be suspended for a set period or indefinitely.
- Membership may be revoked or banned.
- Trusted Seller status may be granted, declined, or revoked.
- Access to specific features or areas may be restricted.
Moderation and records
Designer Goldmine may review, moderate, restrict, remove, or preserve content and records as needed to operate the platform and protect members.
- Listings may be reviewed before or after publication, and may be removed or returned for revision.
- Vault posts, comments, and images may be removed.
- Reports, decisions, and moderation records may be preserved for safety purposes.
- Admins may contact members through the Designer Goldmine Admin Team.
Member responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your own activity on the platform, including:
- Your listings, photos, descriptions, prices, and claims.
- Your messages, posts, and comments.
- Your purchases and sales, and any agreement you make with another member.
- Shipping, packaging, insurance, tracking, and delivery.
- Your payment method choices.
- Your taxes, reporting, and legal compliance.
What Designer Goldmine does not do
Designer Goldmine helps members connect, communicate, and document listing conversations. Designer Goldmine does not:
- Process payments
- Hold funds
- Provide escrow
- Guarantee transactions
- Authenticate items
- Guarantee delivery
- Issue refunds or reverse payments
- Act as seller of record

Prohibited conduct
- Scams, fraud, misleading conduct, or bait-and-switch listings.
- Counterfeit goods, replicas, or misleading brand use.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, doxxing, or intimidation.
- Avoiding platform rules by moving conversations or payments off-platform.
- Soliciting or accepting unsafe or unprotected payment methods.
- Spam, mass solicitation, or off-platform promotion.
- Misusing reports, impersonating others, or evading a suspension.
Your content
You own the content you submit. By submitting it, you grant Designer Goldmine a non-exclusive permission to store, display, reproduce, moderate, and use that content as needed to operate the platform, including in moderation records. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.
Admin discretion
Moderation decisions are made to preserve trust, safety, and platform quality. Designer Goldmine may act on a single incident or on a pattern of behavior, and may keep internal notes that are not shared publicly. Members who believe a decision was made in error should contact the Designer Goldmine Admin Team.
No warranty
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Designer Goldmine does not warrant that listings are accurate, that items are authentic, that members will perform as promised, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You use the platform at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Designer Goldmine and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds, items, profits, or data arising from your use of the platform or from any transaction between members. This section is placeholder language pending legal review.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the platform develops. Material changes will be communicated in the platform, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
