Members transact directly with each other.

Designer Goldmine provides a structured communication platform for members to connect and document transaction details. Designer Goldmine does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, authenticate items, guarantee delivery, issue refunds, reverse payments, or act as seller of record.

These policies are provided as working platform guidance and should be reviewed by legal counsel before full public launch.

Members transact directly

Every purchase or sale on Designer Goldmine is a direct agreement between two members. Designer Goldmine is not a party to that agreement, is not the seller of record, and does not take a commission on it.

Protected payments only

Members may only use PayPal Goods & Services or a protected Venmo purchase payment for Designer Goldmine transactions.

Protected PayPal or Venmo only

Designer Goldmine transactions may only use protected PayPal or protected Venmo payments. If it is not protected PayPal or protected Venmo, it is not allowed here.

Venmo Goods & Services / protected Venmo purchase payment where available

Not allowed

If it is an unprotected transfer, outside checkout, fee-avoidance workaround, or disguised personal payment, it is not allowed.

Do not use PayPal Friends & Family, unprotected Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Cash, Wise, wire transfer, direct bank transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, mailed cash or checks, external checkout or invoice links, or any fee-avoidance workaround.

Member responsibilities

Confirm item details, condition, flaws, inclusions, and final price before paying.
Confirm shipping method, insurance, signature requirements, and timeline.
Keep payment, shipping, and communication records.
Handle your own taxes and legal compliance.

Tools are not a guarantee

Designer Goldmine may provide safety checklists, Purchase Info cards, message templates, listing review, and moderation tools. These exist to help members communicate clearly. They do not make Designer Goldmine a party to any transaction and do not guarantee any outcome.

Disputes and claims

Payment disputes must be handled through your payment provider.
Lost, damaged, or delayed shipments must be handled through the carrier and, where applicable, your payment provider.
Designer Goldmine cannot reverse a payment, release funds, or force a refund.
