What Designer Goldmine does
- Provides a private, moderated space for approved members.
- Allows members to list, browse, message, save, report, and discuss luxury resale.
- Reviews content where required.
- Offers admin messaging and moderation support.
- Maintains community standards.
What Designer Goldmine does not do

- Process payments
- Hold escrow
- Ship items
- Guarantee delivery
- Guarantee authenticity
- Guarantee condition
- Guarantee seller performance
- Guarantee buyer payment
- Provide refunds
- Reverse payments
- Mediate every private transaction
- Take marketplace fees or commissions
Payment safety
Designer Goldmine does not process payments, hold funds, reverse payments, or issue refunds. To keep transactions safer, members may only use protected PayPal or protected Venmo payments for Designer Goldmine transactions.
Protected PayPal or Venmo only
Designer Goldmine transactions may only use protected PayPal or protected Venmo payments. If it is not protected PayPal or protected Venmo, it is not allowed here.

Not allowed
If it is an unprotected transfer, outside checkout, fee-avoidance workaround, or disguised personal payment, it is not allowed.
Before you pay
- Confirm the seller’s name and profile.
- Review all photos.
- Ask for any missing photos.
- Confirm item condition and inclusions.
- Confirm total price.
- Confirm shipping method, insurance, signature requirements, and timeline.
- Confirm the return or refund agreement, if any.
- Use protected PayPal or protected Venmo only.
Before you ship
- Confirm payment has cleared.
- Confirm buyer name and shipping address.
- Photograph the item and packaging.
- Package securely.
- Use tracking.
- Consider insurance and signature confirmation for valuable items.
- Keep receipts and records.

- High-value items should be packed carefully and tracked.

Authenticity caution
Designer Goldmine is not an authentication service. Members may discuss authenticity signals in The Vault, but community opinions are not a professional authentication guarantee. When authenticity matters, use a reputable third-party authentication service before buying or selling. Read the Authenticity Disclaimer.
Red flags
- Refuses to provide additional photos
- Pressures immediate payment
- Price is wildly inconsistent with market value
- Communication becomes evasive
- Requests an unapproved payment method
- Shipping details keep changing
- Won’t confirm condition, inclusions, or ownership
- Asks to move communication away from Designer Goldmine too quickly
- Refuses to use protected PayPal or protected Venmo
- Sends outside checkout links or invoices
Reporting concerns
Designer Goldmine does not control, guarantee, or reverse transactions. If something feels wrong, report the listing, message, post, or comment. You can also message the Designer Goldmine Admin Team. Reports help admins identify patterns and protect the community.
