Designer Goldmine is built on trust, taste, and respectful direct connection. These rules keep the community useful, safe, and worth belonging to.
Membership is approval-only
Designer Goldmine is a private community. Access may be approved, declined, suspended, or removed at the discretion of the Designer Goldmine Admin Team. Membership is intended for people who participate honestly, respectfully, and in good faith.
Be truthful in every listing
- List only items you own or are authorized to sell.
- Use accurate photos of the exact item.
- Disclose flaws, wear, repairs, odors, alterations, missing parts, and anything that could affect value.
- Do not use misleading brand names, fake condition claims, bait-and-switch listings, or copied listings from other sellers.
- Do not list counterfeit items or anything you know or suspect may not be authentic.
No counterfeit goods, copyright infringement, or misleading brand use
Designer Goldmine has zero tolerance for counterfeit designer goods, copyright infringement, trademark misuse, or listings that could mislead members about what an item is.
- Do not list counterfeit items, replicas, dupes, inspired-by goods, or anything you know or suspect may not be authentic.
- Do not list handmade, altered, reconstructed, printed, or custom items in a way that uses protected designer logos, motifs, marks, patterns, or branding unless the item itself is authentic and accurately represented.
- Do not use brand names, logos, trademarks, or protected imagery in a misleading way.
- Do not use stock photos, boutique website photos, brand website images, screenshots, or another seller’s photos as your listing photos.
- Use your own photos of the exact item being sold.
- Designer Goldmine may remove any listing, post, image, or comment that creates authenticity concerns, copyright concerns, trademark concerns, or legal risk for the platform or community.
If a logo, motif, pattern, or brand element is the reason someone would think the item is designer, the item needs to be authentic and accurately represented. No exceptions.
PayPal and Venmo protected payments only
Designer Goldmine members may only use protected PayPal or protected Venmo payments for Designer Goldmine transactions.

Designer Goldmine transactions may only use protected PayPal or protected Venmo payments. If it is not protected PayPal or protected Venmo, it is not allowed here.

- Venmo Goods & Services / protected Venmo purchase payment where available
Not allowed
- Friends & Family or unprotected personal transfers
- Zelle, Wise, Cash App, Apple Cash, wires, bank transfers, crypto, gift cards, cash, or checks
- Shopify, Shop Pay, Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, credit-card invoices, or outside checkout links
- Any fee-avoidance workaround or disguised personal transfer

Designer Goldmine does not process payments, hold funds, reverse payments, issue refunds, or guarantee transactions. The protected PayPal / protected Venmo rule is a community safety requirement, not a payment-processing service.
Keep transactions clear and direct
Designer Goldmine helps members connect. Members are responsible for agreeing on payment, shipping, delivery, insurance, returns, and timing before money changes hands.
- Confirm item details before paying.
- Confirm payment method before shipping.
- Keep written records.
- Do not pressure another member to rush a transaction.
- Do not take payment for an item you cannot ship or deliver as promised.
Keep transactions on-standard. Members may not use listings, messages, comments, or Vault posts to route buyers around Designer Goldmine rules. No outside checkout links, external marketplace links, live-sale links, social selling links, or payment workarounds are allowed.
Respect the community
- Be polite, direct, and reasonable.
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, bullying, or discriminatory behavior.
- No public callouts, dogpiling, or drama farming.
- If there is a problem, use reports or message the Designer Goldmine Admin Team.
- Do not misuse reports to punish someone over a personal disagreement.
Use The Vault responsibly
- Ask questions in good faith.
- Share advice respectfully.
- Do not present guesses as professional authentication.
- Do not shame members for asking questions.
- No spam, self-promotion, or off-topic posting.
- Admins may remove posts and comments that are misleading, unsafe, hostile, repetitive, or outside the purpose of the community.
No rule avoidance, unsafe payments, or spam
- Do not move conversations or payments off-platform to avoid Designer Goldmine rules.
- Do not ask for or accept unprotected or unapproved payment methods.
- No spam, mass solicitation, or promotion of outside shops, groups, or checkout links.
- Do not evade a suspension or use a second account.
Admin moderation
Designer Goldmine may review, approve, reject, edit visibility, remove content, suspend access, or message members when needed to protect the quality and safety of the community.
- Admin decisions are made to preserve trust, safety, and platform quality.
- Removed content may remain visible internally to admins for moderation records.
- Members should contact the Designer Goldmine Admin Team if they believe something was removed in error.
- Accounts may be warned, suspended, banned, or have Trusted Seller status revoked.
- Internal admin notes are never shown publicly.
